Applesauce Bread
Applesauce Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. baking soda and 1 c. granola cereal, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, spices and baking soda in bowl.
Cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Stir in cereal.
Fold in eggs and applesauce and stir just until flour is moistened.
Pour into 2 greased 8 x 4-inch loaf pans or four 5 x 2-inch baby loaf pans. Bake at 350Β° for 45 minutes or until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool in pans 10 minutes.
Remove from pans and finish cooling on rack.
