Applesauce
Applesauce is an easy dinner. Made with 4 medium cooking apples (we like granny smith), 1/2 c. water, 1/3 c. packed brown sugar and 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cut peeled apples into quarters.
Heat apples and water to boiling over medium heat; reduce heat.
Simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally to break up apples, until tender, 5 to 10 minutes.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Heat to boiling; boil and stir 1 minute.
Makes about 3 cups.
