Apple Walnut Cobbler
Apple Walnut Cobbler is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. thinly sliced, peeled cooking apples, 1 1/2 c. sugar, divided, 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon, 3/4 c. coarsely chopped walnuts, divided and 1 c. sifted all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Place apples in a lightly greased 9-inch round cake pan. Combine 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/2 cup walnuts; sprinkle over apples.
Sift together flour, remaining sugar, baking powder and salt.
Combine egg, milk and butter; add to dry ingredients, mixing until smooth.
Pour over apple mixture.
Top with remaining nuts.
Bake at 325Β° for 40 to 50 minutes or until top is golden brown.
Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
