Apple Spice Custard Cake
Apple Spice Custard Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (18 1/4 oz.) pkg. spice cake mix, 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk, 1 (8 oz.) sour cream, at room temperature, ground cinnamon and 2 medium apples, pared, cored and finely chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Prepare cake mix as directed.
Stir in apples.
Pour into well-greased and floured 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
Bake 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Meanwhile, in bowl, combine milk, sour cream and lemon juice. Remove cake from oven.
Spread cream mixture over top; return to oven and bake 10 minutes more or until set.
Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Refrigerate any leftovers.
