Apple Salad
Apple Salad is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon jello, 3 tbsp. sugar, dash of salt, 4 c. water and 3 red unpeeled, diced apples, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Prepare jello with 3 tablespoons sugar, salt and water.
When this starts to thicken, add apples, bananas and crushed pineapple. In saucepan, cook together pineapple juice, 1/2 cup sugar, egg and flour.
Let cool, then add 1 package of Dream Whip prepared according to directions.
Spread on top of jello mixture and sprinkle with nuts.
Makes 8 to 12 servings.
