Apple Rings
Apple Rings is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in just 50 minutes. Made with medium sized apples, c. water, c. sugar, c. red hot cinnamon candies and few drops red food coloring, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Peel and core apples, leaving them whole then slice into 1/2-inch slices.
Set aside.
Mix together the water, sugar, candies and food coloring in a saucepan.
Bring mixture to a boil. Drop in apple rings. Simmer until tender, about 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from syrup.
Serve as an accompaniment to any type wild meat.
