Apple Pudding
Apple Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 large apples, pared, cored and sliced, 1/4 c. water, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, 1 c. sugar and 1/2 to 3/4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Place apples in deep 8-inch casserole; add lemon juice and water.
Mix cinnamon with 1/2 of the sugar, sprinkle over the apples.
Combine remaining sugar with flour and salt; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse meal.
Sprinkle over apples and pat smooth.
Bake at 375Β° for 40 minutes.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
