Apple Pound Cake
Apple Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 or 6 apples, 5 tsp. cinnamon, 2 c. sugar, 4 eggs and 1/2 c. orange juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Cut 5 or 6 peeled apples into small pieces.
Sprinkle with 5 teaspoons cinnamon (or to your taste) and set aside.
In a large bowl mix ingredients (except apples) until smooth.
Pour 1/2 cake mixture into a 10-inch greased and floured tube pan; add 1/2 apple mixture.
Add remaining cake mixture to pan and top with remaining apple mixture.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 1/2 hours.
Cake will be golden brown when done.
Remove from pan immediately and cool.
Best served cool or cold.
