Apple Pie
Apple Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 or 10 apples (jonathan preferably), peeled, cored and sliced, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1 tbsp. (heaping) flour, pinch of salt and cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Mix sugar, flour and salt; place half of mixture in bottom of unbaked pastry shell.
Add half of apples and sprinkle with nutmeg and cinnamon.
Scatter bits of butter.
Repeat until all apples are used.
Squeeze juice of lemon and 1/2 cup water over top.
Top with pastry crust and bake at 350Β° for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
