Apple-Nut Cake
Apple-Nut Cake is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. margarine, 1 c. white sugar, 1 c. brown sugar, 3 c. flour and 2 tsp. cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Mix margarine, sugars, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg together as for pie crust.
Set aside 1 cup for topping.
Add baking powder, salt and soda to mixture and mix well.
Add 2 eggs and buttermilk. Beat.
Stir in chopped apples.
Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
Mix chopped nuts in with reserved topping and sprinkle over batter.
Bake at 300° for 1 hour.
(If using two 9-inch round cake pans, bake at 350° for 25 minutes.)
