Apple Gift Cookies
Apple Gift Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. shortening, 1 egg, beaten, 1 1/2 c. flour and 1 c. apple, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Cream sugar and shortening until very light.
Add beaten egg. Measure, mix and sift dry ingredients.
Add to mixture and stir in apples.
Drop in balls on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375Β° for 12 to 15 minutes.
Makes 4 dozen.
