Apple Dumplings
Apple Dumplings is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 large granny smith apples, 1 stick butter, 1/2 c. brown sugar, 2 tsp. cinnamon and pastry dough for 2 (2 crust) pies (4 crusts), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Preheat oven to 425Β°.
Peel and core apples.
Roll out dough to 1/4-inch.
Cut into 6 squares.
Place 1 apple on each square. Sprinkle apples with cinnamon.
Place butter and brown sugar into centers of pastry dough to overlap on top of apples.
Place in greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
Heat water, sugar and vanilla to rolling boil.
Pour over apple dumplings.
Bake 40 to 45 minutes.
Serve warm with cream.
Serves 6.
