Apple Crunch
Apple Crunch is an easy dinner. Made with 3 medium cooking apples (total 1 lb.), 1/4 c. apple or orange juice, 1 tbsp. brown sugar, 1 tsp. cornstarch and 1/3 c. granola, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Preheat the oven to 350Β°.
Meanwhile, peel, core and thinly slice the apples.
Combine apple or orange juice, the brown sugar and the cornstarch.
Toss the apples.
Place apple mixture in a 1-quart casserole.
Cover and bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until apples are very tender.
Sprinkle the granola over the apples just before serving.
Makes 4 servings.
