Apple Crisp is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar, 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon and 1 c. post 40% bran flakes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Arrange apple slices in a shallow baking dish.
Cream the butter; blend in sugar, flour and cinnamon.
Stir in cereal. Sprinkle over apples.
Bake at 375Β° for 25 to 30 minutes. Sprinkle with shredded Cheddar cheese, if desired.
Serve warm. Makes 8 servings.
