Apple Cranberry Pie
Apple Cranberry Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. fresh or frozen cranberries, 1 3/4 c. sugar, 1/3 c. quick cooking tapioca, 1/4 c. water and 2 tsp. grated orange peel, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
In saucepan, combine the cranberries, sugar, tapioca, water and orange peel.
Bring to boil, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat and stir in apples.
Pour into unbaked pastry shell that has been coated with 1/4 cup flour and 1/4 cup sugar mixed together.
Top with uncooked pastry or lattice strips of pastry.
If using a full top crust, cut a few slits in top crust. Slice a few slices of margarine and place on top and sprinkle sugar over top.
Bake at 375Β° for about 50 minutes.
