Apple Cinnamon French Toast
Apple Cinnamon French Toast is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 tbsp. butter, 2 large baking apples, peeled, cored and sliced, 1 c. firmly packed dark brown sugar, 3 large eggs and 1 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Day before, prepare apples and French toast.
In large skillet melt butter over medium heat.
Add apple slices and cook, stirring occasionally until tender.
Add brown sugar, corn syrup and cinnamon to apples.
Cook, stirring until brown sugar dissolves. Put apple mixture into 9 x 13-inch baking pan and spread to even layer.
Arrange bread slices in one layer on top of apple mixture. In medium size bowl, with fork, beat eggs, milk and vanilla until well mixed; pour over bread slices.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
