Mix all dry ingredients first.
Then cream oil, sugar and eggs.
Beat until creamy with electric beater and then add small amount of flour at a time.
Beat after each cup of flour.
This will be quite stiff.
Then add apples and nuts.
Bake at 350Β° until tested done.
Makes 2 small or 1 large cake.
