Angel Pie
Angel Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 egg whites, 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar, 1 c. sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla and 8 saltine crackers, crumbled, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Beat egg whites with cream of tartar and add sugar gradually. Continue beating until stiff peaks hold their shape.
Fold in cracker crumbs and nuts.
Place mixture in a greased 8 or 9-inch pie pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 35 to 40 minutes.
Cool in refrigerator. Next day, fill with whipped cream as pie sinks in the middle as it cools.
