Angel Food Refrigerator Cake
Angel Food Refrigerator Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 angel food cake, 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips, 1/2 pt. whipped topping, 4 eggs, separated and 1 1/2 tbsp. cool water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Melt together the chocolate chips and 1 1/2 tablespoons cool water.
Add egg yolks, one at a time.
When cool, fold in beaten egg whites and fold in the preceding.
Add the whipped cream.
Put a layer of cake, broken into bite size pieces, into a dish.
Add 1/2 of sauce.
Add another layer of cake; finish with sauce.
Top with Cool Whip.
Chill several hours.
