Angel Food Dessert
Angel Food Dessert is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 loaves angel food cake, 1 can cherry pie filling, 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, 2 c. whipped cream and 1 c. confectioners sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Slice loaves lengthwise into layers.
Make filling of cheese, cream, sugar and extract.
Spread on bottom layers.
Top with pie filling, then remaining cake layers, next another layer of filling and then the balance of pie filling. Chill.
Ice sides of cakes with Cool Whip.
Do not ice tops.
Makes 2 loaf cakes.
