Sift together flour and powdered sugar.
Set aside.
Beat egg whites until stiff, but not dry, soft peaks.
Turn mixer on low and add sugar & flour mixture.
Add 1 cup sugar and mix well. Pour into angel food cake pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done.
