Angel Biscuits
Angel Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. or cake yeast, 2 tbsp. lukewarm water, 1 c. shortening, 5 c. flour and 1 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
Sift together all the dry ingredients.
Cut in shortening.
Add yeast and buttermilk to dry mixture.
Refrigerate until dough is cold.
Knead enough to hold together and roll 1/2 to 1/4-inch thickness.
Cut with biscuit cutter, dip in melted butter and fold.
Pat tops of folded rolls with melted butter.
Let rise 1 hour before baking.
Bake at 450Β° for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Yields 3 to 4 dozen (may be refrigerated or frozen before baking).
