Angel Biscuits
Angel Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 cake yeast, 4 tbsp. warm water, 5 c. flour, 4 tbsp. sugar or honey and 1 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water.
Put flour, sugar, soda, baking powder and salt in separate bowl.
Cut in shortening. Add buttermilk and yeast mixture.
Mix well.
(Does not have to be kneaded.)
Dough can be stored in a covered plastic bowl in the refrigerator for 1 week.
Roll out and cut in shapes or drop balls on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 450Β° for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
