Sift dry ingredients together in large bowl.

Cut in shortening and mix thoroughly. Add buttermilk and dissolved yeast. Work together with large spoon until all flour is moistened. Cover bowl and put in refrigerator until ready to use as needed. When ready to use, take out as much as needed.

Roll on floured board to 1/2-inch thickness and cut. Bake at 425Β° for between 8 to 10 minutes.

Makes 6 dozen.

This dough will keep in refrigerator several weeks.
