Angel Biscuits
Angel Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 c. self-rising flour, 1/3 c. sugar, dash of salt, 1 tsp. soda and 1 c. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Mix dry ingredients together.
Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse meal.
Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Add yeast mixture and buttermilk.
Dough will be soft.
Turn onto floured board and knead a few times, adding flour to make dough firm enough to roll out.
Roll out to 1/2-inch thickness and cut out with cutter.
Bake at 350Β° until light brown.
Yields about 36 (2-inch) rolls.
