Angel Biscuits
Angel Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 c. all-purpose flour, 1 tsp. soda, 3 tsp. baking powder, 1 pkg. dry yeast and 2 tbsp. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Sift dry ingredients together.
Cut in shortening.
Dissolve yeast in warm water; add to buttermilk.
Stir well.
Add to flour mixture; mix until blended.
Knead for 1 minute, or until smooth. Roll to 1/4-inch thickness.
Cut; place on ungreased biscuit pan. Bake at 450Β° for 10 minutes.
Dough may be stored in bulk for 3 or 4 days in the refrigerator.
Yields 20 to 25.
