Angel Biscuits
Angel Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 c. flour, 4 tbsp. sugar, 6 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1 c. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Sift together dry ingredients, then cut in shortening. Dissolve yeast in warm water and add buttermilk.
Then add dry ingredients.
Cover and refrigerate; will keep several weeks. Makes 5 dozen.
Take amount to be baked and roll out on slightly floured board to 1/2-inch thick.
Cut and place on greased cookie sheet; grease top and let sit 1 to 2 hours until they rise.
Place in a preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes at 400Β°.
