Amish Sugar Cookies
Amish Sugar Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. white sugar, 1 c. powdered sugar, 1 c. margarine, 1 c. cooking oil and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Combine sugars, margarine and oil.
Beat well.
Add eggs and beat again.
Stir in soda, cream of tartar, vanilla and almond flavoring.
Add flour, a little at a time.
Form small balls (large hickory nut size) and drop on ungreased cookie sheet.
Flatten with a fork or the bottom of a glass.
Bake at 375Β° for 10 to 12 minutes until slightly brown.
Makes lots of cookies that melt in your mouth!
