American-Style Lasagna is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. lean ground beef, 1 clove garlic, minced or pressed, 2 to 2 1/2 c. prepared spaghetti sauce, 1 tsp. italian style herbs and 1/4 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In a glass bowl, crumble the beef and add the garlic.
Cover with paper toweling.
Microwave on High power until meat is no longer pink, about 5 minutes.
Drain off any fat.
Add the sauce, herbs and water.
Return to the microwave.
Microwave 5 minutes on High power, stirring once, until sauce is hot.
