Ambrosia
Ambrosia is an easy dinner. Made with 6 medium oranges, 3 medium grapefruit, 1 pineapple, 1/3 c. confectioners sugar and 1 (6 oz.) jar cherries, drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Peel fruit, reserve as much juice as possible in a shallow baking dish.
Slice oranges and halve slices; cut grapefruit into segments and pineapple into chunks.
As each fruit is completed, place in a layer in a clear or cut glass bowl.
Sprinkle each layer with sugar.
Pour reserved juices over layers.
Cover; chill 1 hour or more.
Scatter cherries over fruit.
