Use large bowl.
Mix at low speed, first 10 ingredients for 10 minutes, scraping bowl frequently.
Stir in apples, raisins and nuts.
Pour into pans.
Bake in a 350Β° oven for 45 minutes.
Cool in pan 10 minutes.
Remove from pan and cool all the way before icing.
