Amanda's Favorite Carrots
Amanda'S Favorite Carrots is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sliced carrots (approximately 1 lb.), 1 tbsp. sugar, 1 tsp. cornstarch, 1/4 tsp. ground ginger and 1/4 c. orange juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cook carrots until tender; drain water.
In small saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and ginger.
Add orange juice.
Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
Cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes more.
Stir in butter or margarine.
Pour over hot carrots, stirring lightly to coat.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
