Sift flour, sugar, cocoa, salt and soda in a bowl.
Mix together and make a well.
In another bowl mix the oil, lemon juice, vanilla and water.
Gradually add to the first mixture. Pour into an ungreased 9 x 12-inch pan and bake 30 minutes at 350Β°.
