Almond Pound Cake

Cream sugar and shortenings well.
Add eggs and salt; mix well. Add remaining ingredients; the longer the batter is mixed, the better the cake.
Pour into very lightly greased 12-cup Bundt pan. Put into cold oven; set temperature at 320Β°.
Bake 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Cool 15 minutes and remove from pan.
Keeps very well several days.
