Almond Horns
Almond Horns is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 1/2 c. flour, 3/4 c. white sugar, pinch of salt, 1 lb. butter and 1/2 lb. blanched finely ground almonds, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Mix flour, sugar and salt together.
Add butter and work into flour until well mixed. Add the almonds and lemon extract.
Take small amounts of crumbs and roll in palm of hand until smooth. Make them long and form into horn shape.
Place on lightly greased cookie sheet and bake at 300Β° for 20 to 25 minutes.
Let them cool completely, then roll in powdered sugar.
Makes about 12 dozen crescents.
