Melt butter in heavy saucepan.
Add sugar, syrup and water.
Cook, stirring often, to hard candy stage (300Β°).
Quickly stir in coarsely chopped nuts.
Pour in well-greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Spread top with half the chocolate and half the finely chopped nuts.
Turn over and repeat with chocolate and nuts.
Break in pieces like peanut brittle.
