Alaska Wild Berry Cobbler
Alaska Wild Berry Cobbler is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 cube butter or margarine, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. flour, 2 tsp. baking powder and dash of salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Place the butter or margarine in a 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Slash a few times to make it melt faster.
Place in heated oven to let it melt.
Remove from oven.
Mix together 1 cup sugar, the flour, baking powder and the salt.
Add enough milk to make a thin batter.
Pour this mixture over butter in the pan.
Spread the berries over dough.
Sprinkle 1/2 cup sugar over the fruit.
Pour on 2 cups water and bake at 425Β° for 30 minutes.
