Alaska King Crab Casserole
Alaska King Crab Casserole is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/2 cube butter or margarine (2 sticks), 4 tbsp. flour, 1 c. evaporated milk, 1 c. chicken stock and 1 can cream of mushroom soup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Melt butter; stir in flour and chicken stock with soup diluted in milk.
Stir and cook slowly until thickened.
Add milk to make a medium sauce.
Mix in herbs, mushrooms, seasonings and juice. Place crabmeat in large casserole.
Mix in lemon peel with fork. Pour sauce over this mixture and combine gently.
Sprinkle with bread crumbs.
Bake 20 to 30 minutes at 350Β°.
