Airedale Biscuits
Airedale Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. self-rising flour, 1 c. oats, 1 c. coconut, 1 c. sugar and 1/4 lb. margarine (1 stick), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl; make well in center. Melt margarine and syrup in saucepan.
Dissolve baking soda in 1 tablespoon of tepid water; stir into melted margarine and syrup. Pour into dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Shape into balls the size of large marbles (walnut).
Place 2 inches apart on cookie tray.
Bake at 350Β° about 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
