Absolute Best Banana Bread
Absolute Best Banana Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, 1 c. white sugar, 1 c. brown sugar, 4 eggs and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
Cream butter and both sugars. Add eggs.
Sift together salt, baking soda and flours.
Add wheat germ to flour mixture.
Alternately add flour mixture and mashed bananas to the creamed mixture.
All pecans to batter.
Pour into two well-greased loaf pans.
Sprinkle with a little brown sugar, wheat germ, and a few chopped pecans.
Bake for 1 1/2 hours or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
