7-Minute Frosting is an easy dinner. Made with 2 egg whites (1/4 c.), 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar, 1/3 c. water and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Combine all ingredients, except vanilla, in top of double boiler.
Place over boiling water and beat with rotary beater or mixer until mixture stands in stiff peaks (takes a good 7 minutes).
Scrape bottom and sides of pan occasionally.
Fold in vanilla.
