5 Hour Stew
A long, slow-baked stew of beef, carrots, onions and celery thickened with tapioca and brightened by tomatoes and green beans. Deeply savory and almost effortless.

Brown meat.
Add green beans, tomatoes, onions, celery and carrots.
Add tapioca and seasonings.
Mix slightly together.
Add 5 potatoes, quartered if large.
Cover and bake 5 hours at 250Β°. Do not add any water.
