Cream butter until fluffy.
With a study spoon, mix in slowly the sugar, chips, flour, vanilla and pecans, one ingredient at a time.
Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased sheet, about 2-inches apart.
Flatten with a greased and sugared glass bottom to about 1/4-inch thickness.
Bake at 350Β° for about 10 minutes.
