10 Layer Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 head lettuce, broken up, 1 c. chopped celery, 4 hard-boiled eggs, sliced, 1 c. frozen peas, rinsed in cold water and 1/2 c. chopped green pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Place lettuce in large bowl.
Add rest of ingredients in order, in layers over lettuce.
Top with mayonnaise that has been mixed with 2 tablespoons sugar.
Sprinkle grated cheese over mayonnaise.
Refrigerate 12 hours.
This looks good fixed in large glass bowl so layers show.
