Add oil, sugar and vanilla to eggs and beat until light and fluffy.

Mix dry ingredients.

Mix all ingredients in order given. Add 1 cup (or much less) raisins and walnuts.

Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour in 2 well-greased loaf pans plus 1 baking powder can, greased and filled 1/2 full.

Cool before removing from pans.
