Sift flour and salt into bowl.

Drop eggs into a well in center of flour and pour in milk.

Beat until smooth.

When roast is done, remove from oven and keep warm.

Increase oven heat to 450Β°.

Pour beef drippings into 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan and heat until sizzling hot.

Pour batter over hot drippings.

Bake 20 to 25 minutes, until puffy and golden.

Serve in slices with roast beef.
