Yorkshire Potato Pudding

Boil and mash potatoes.
Combine bouillon cube, hot milk, butter, salt and pepper.
Beat into potatoes.
Reserve 1 1/2 tablespoons of the beaten egg and beat the remainder into the potatoes.
Pile into a buttered 9-inch cake pan and brush with reserved egg.
Sprinkle with paprika and broil until the top is browned.
Cut into wedges to serve.
