Yellow Cake Layers
Yellow Cake Layers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, 2 c. sugar, 4 eggs, 3 c. cake flour sifted and 1/4 t. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Cream butter and sugar, add eggs one at time.
Sift flour, salt and soda, add to creamed mixture alternately with milk ending with flour and vanilla.
Grease and flour 3 or 4 cake pans.
Bake at 350 for 20-25 mins. or until tooth pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool in pans 10 mins. then turn out on racks to cool. Frost with favorite frosting.
