Yeast Rolls
Yeast Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. boiling water, 1/4 c. shortening, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 1/2 tsp. salt and 4 to 5 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Soften yeast in the warm water for at least 5 minutes or more. To boiling water, add shortening, sugar and salt.
Cool to lukewarm and add yeast softened in water.
Gradually add 4 to 5 cups of flour.
Knead; let rise until double in bulk.
Make into cloverleaf rolls (makes 14 to 16) in greased cupcake pans.
Let rise again until double in bulk.
Bake at 425Β° until brown, approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
