Mix yeast with warm water and sugar; let set.

Sift flour and let set.

Pour boiling water over shortening.

Mix salt and 1/2 cup sugar and eggs together.

Mix boiling water and shortening with sugar and egg mixture.

Add 1/2 of the flour, mixed yeast, water and sugar.

Add remaining flour.

The amount of flour may vary depending on the weather.

Divide in half and let set out 3 hours in a warm place to rise.

If placed in refrigerator, roll out and let rise one hour before cooking.

Bake at 400Β° for 8 to 10 minutes or until brown.
